Crick wins 2nd Nebraska amateur title

Omaha - Brandon Crick of McCook claimed his second Nebraska Amateur Championship Friday winning by four shots at Ironwood Golf & Country Club in Omaha. Crick, who began the day one shot clear of match play champion John Hurley of O'Neill, shot 68 for a final score of 17-under par 271. Hurley shot 71 to finish at 13-under par 275. From our area Josh Reinertson of Gibbon finished tied for 10th place at 1 under for the tourney. Alex Farrel of Kearney tied for 31st at 9 over par, Tim Davis of Cozad tied for 36th at 13 over and Nate Jaeger of Lexington tied for 38th after finishing the tournament at 15 over.
