Basketball tournament underway in Kearney
Kearney- The 18th annual Mr. Basketball tournament gets underway today in Kearney. This year's field include 40 teams from eight states. The third annual Miss Basketball Big Show is also taking place as 24 teams from eight states are in town. Games on Thursday-Saturday run from 9am until 11pm at the UNK Health Sports Center and Kearney Catholic high school. Sunday's games start at 9am. The Big Show final is set for 4pm on Sunday. The boy's Kearney Senior All Star game starts at 6pm, while the Mr. Basketball championship is scheduled for 7pm.
