KU looks to move past Villanova

No. 1 seed Kansas has advanced to the Sweet 16 for the 25th time in school history and the third time under head coach Bill Self. The Jayhawks are coming off a win against UNLV. KU will play 12th seed Villanova Friday night at 8:40 central time in Detroit, Mich. The Wildcats defeated Siena to advance to the Sweet 16. Kansas and Villanova are meeting for the fourth time in men's basketball with KU holding a 2-1 series advantage. This will be the first meeting between the two schools in NCAA Championship competition.
