Nebraska picks up quarterback recruit
Nebraska football coach Bo Pelini received some very good news yesterday. After narrowing his list to two schools, Nebraska and Texas A&M, Quarterback prospect Cody Green announced yesterday that he has given his verbal commitment to be a part of the Nebraska's 2009 recruiting class. According to Huskersillustrated.com offensive coordinator Shawn Watson and linebackers coach Mike Ekeler were the primary recruiters for him. Green is ranked as the No. 10 dual-threat quarterback prospect in the country and the No. 33 overall prospect in the state of Texas by Rivals.com.
