Miss basketball tournament wraps up in Kearney
Kearney- The Miss basketball tournament wrapped up on Sunday night in Kearney. In the Kearney area senior all star game the Reds outlasted the Whites 54-51. Abby Royle of Pleasanton led three players in double figures as she had 14. Taryn McDowell of Ravenna had 12, while Kate Fagot of Eustis Farnam chipped with with 10. Leading the Whites were Maggie Maher of Kearney who scored 13, and Mallory Murdoch who played at Holdrege high school had 10. In the championship game of the tournament the KC Blue Streaks downed the Nebraska Twisterz for the championship.
