Nebraska practices running the option
QB Joe Ganz leading the Huskers through a successful Spring Season.

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ The Cornhuskers devoted today's practice to fine-tuning offensive plays, paying special attention to running the option. Head coach Bo Pelini says the option will be part of the offense, although how much it will be used isn't known. Pelini says the team is working to continue its success from the final three games of last season, when it average 598 yards a game. Pelini opted to skip an invitation to the White House, where his former LSU players were being honored for their 2007 national championship, to attend today's practice. It was the eighth of 15 springs practices in preparation for the annual Red-White Game on April 19th.
