Bertrand has big day in Elwood

Bertrand also claimed the title in the girls team standings with 109 points. Southwest was second with 86. Loomis 73, Arapahoe 61, Maxwell 47, Elm Creek 44, Eustis Farnam 41, Elwood 36, Brady 25, Elwood JV 5. Taylor Tacha of Bertrand took home four gold medals. Tacha set meet records in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.10 seconds, she won the 300 meter hurdles with a mark of 46.8 seconds. Tacha also won the 400 meter dash and ran a leg on Bertrand's 1,600 meter relay squad. Kailey Hunoff of Loomis won the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Lisa Lord of Soutwest took home first in the long jump and the triple jump. Her mark of 35ft 9.75 inches in the triple jump was a new meet record.
