Neb. student pleads no contest in hazing case
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ One of several students accused in an alleged hazing incident at a University of Nebraska-Lincoln fraternity has pleaded no cotest in connection with the case. Chris Wozniak pleaded no contest Wednesday to a charge of procuring or selling alcohol to a minor. Lancaster County Court records show Wozniak was found guilty and will be sentenced on July 31. Several members of Sigma Chi fraternity were cited last month by campus police. Court documents say pledges were verbally assaulted and forced to take shots of vodka and Tabasco sauce until they vomited, among other things. One pledge alleged he was sexually assaulted. The university has suspended the fraternity.
