NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) _ A Lincoln County district judge has told a North Platte law firm he will not hear any of the firm's cases, because he's upset about the firm's role in having a fellow judge removed from the bench. District Judge John Murphy sent a letter to the firm of Norman, Paloucek & Herman that said, ``Because I hold you personally responsible for the Florom fiasco, I am recusing myself from any pending case or any future case involving your law firm.'' Lincoln County Judge Kent Florom was removed from the bench earlier this month for misconduct because he tried to influence cases involving a coach and player on his daughter's softball team. Murphy did not immediately respond to a message Friday, but he is out of the office and not expected back until next week.
