Blaze destroys bowling alley in Ord
ORD, Neb. (AP) _ A mysterious explosion and fire have destroyed the bowling alley in Ord. One of the alley's co-owners says all that's left are the walls. A party was held there Saturday night. Later that night, an explosion and fire ripped the building. Ord Fire Chief Randy Wilson said last night that a cause still had not been determined. He says firefighters from North Loup and Scotia were called in. High winds hampered the firefighters, who were able to keep the flames from causing major damage to a nearby house and a convenience store.
