Thayer County Bank agrees to more scrutiny
HEBRON, Neb. (AP) — Thayer County Bank officials are working to comply with conditions regulators established for the Hebron bank.

By the middle of December, the bank must submit a plan to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. to improve the bank's profitability and regularly review its loan portfolio.

The bank has already taken several other steps to improve its balance sheet since regulators identified their concerns earlier this year.

Bank President Pat Kenner says the bank is going to be more aggressive in managing its loans, and it has already initiated several foreclosures.
