Tests show girl at Neb. festival has H1N1 influenza
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ State health officials say a Pennsylvania girl who was among 2,400 people attending an international festival in Nebraska has the H1N1 influenza. Test results came back Wednesday confirming the girl, who is between the ages of 5 and 18, has the virus. The girl has already recovered. No other details were immediately released, including the girl's hometown. The International Thespian Festival was held last week on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus. It concluded Saturday. Health officials had already sent letters to festival participants telling them about the situation. Test results have confirmed 111 cases of the virus among Nebraska residents since the outbreak began in late April. ___ On the Net: Department of Health and Human Services swine flu page: http://www.dhhs.ne.gov/H1N1Flu/
