More suspected gambling machines uncovered
More video gambling machines seized in southwest Nebraska. On Tuesday evening, the Nebraska State Patrol and State Fire Marshall's Office were conducting a joint inspection of RC's Galley, a restaurant at Johnson Lake near Elwood. Lt. Lynn Williams, with the Investigative Services Division of the State Patrol, says two suspected illegal video gambling devices were seized. No citations were issued but, the owner of the establishment, Ronald Criss, was arrested by the Fire Marshall investigator on suspicion of Refusal to Comply with a Lawful Order in connection with the investigation. Meanwhile, Lt. Williams says suspected illegal video gaming devices were seized in Ogallala on Wednesday but, no further information was available. Video gaming machines were also seized nearly two weeks ago in McCook, Cambridge and Grand Island.
