Officials release name of driver killed in Neb. collision
MILLER, Neb. (AP) _ Buffalo County authorities have released the name of an 88-year-old man who died in a collision on a state highway in south-central Nebraska. The Buffalo County Attorney's Office said Tuesday that Cecil Neu of Sumner was pronounced dead at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office says Neu's pickup collided late Monday afternoon with a car driven by a 22-year-old man from Miller. The accident occurred about three miles east of Miller on Nebraska Highway 40. The younger driver was taken to the same hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released his name or information about his condition.
