Rural Neb. airport renamed after hometown aviator
Keith Glaze
BROKEN BOW, Neb. (AP) _ A rural airport in central Nebraska has been renamed for a local aviator who was committed to bettering the facility. Broken Bow Municipal Airport became Keith Glaze Field during Saturday's rededication ceremony. Lester Keith Glaze, who was 88 when he died in December, was known for giving his time and money to maintaining the airport. He was also a member of the Civil Air Patrol and recognized in the Nebraska Aviation Hall of Fame. Glaze served with the U.S. Air Force in World War II, flying more than 90 flights. During Saturday's ceremony, Secretary of State John Gale called Glaze ``a priceless gem.''
