Burt County authorities are continuing their investigation into the accident that killed an Oakland woman. Jeanie Boyer was killed in the crash on Highway 32 in Oakland, and investigators now say that part of the semi trailer trucks brake system failed in the incident. A full report will go to the Burt County Attorney’s office to see if charges would be filed against the driver of the truck.
