Pipeline crew working way through NE Neb.
NORFOLK, Neb. (AP) _ A crew of more than 500 people working on the TransCanada Keystone Pipeline is making its way to the Norfolk area. The pipeline will transport crude oil from Alberta Canada to Cushing, Okla. Field engineer Eric Pickett says crews will be working to pave a smooth surface before having the pipe formatted to the terrain it goes over. The next step has the pipe buried, then a landscaping crew finishes the project. Pickett says he expects his crew to be in the Norfolk area from early August until December, when the project then moves south through Columbus.
