Police: 2 teens confess to starting Aurora fire
AURORA, Neb. (AP) _ Aurora police say two teens have confessed to starting a fire that destroyed a historic building in downtown Aurora. The blaze in the three-story, brick building broke out Thursday afternoon. Aurora Police Chief Godfrey Brokenrope says two boys, ages 13 and 14, were brought in for questioning and admitted to starting the fire at the Fidelity Building with paper and lighters. The boys were released to their parents, pending a review of the case by the Hamilton County attorney. Fire officials have said the Fidelity Building, valued at $87,310, is a total loss.
