Authorities say Lexington death was homicide

Dawson County authorities have opened a homicide investigation into the death of a rural Lexington man. Sheriff Gary Reiber announced Thursday that an autopsy performed on the body of 49-year-old Rodney Marshall confirmed that his death was suspicious. His office would not say how Marshall died. Marshall's body was found Sunday night about seven miles northwest of Lexington.
