UNL restructures alumni organization

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's alumni association is restructuring after an audit turned up transactions without proper documentation. The Nebraska Alumni Association board has voted to create a seven-member executive board, which will include University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor Harvey Perlman or a designee. Previously, the association was managed by a 25-member volunteer board that functioned independently from the university or the foundation. A new executive director will be hired who will report to the executive committee.
