Gene Virgil Wacker, age 81 of Lincoln, KS, passed away December 27, 2009 in Lincoln, KS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Tuesday, December 29th at Lincoln Methodist Church in Lincoln, KS. Interment will be held in the Emmanuel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00-7:00PM, Monday, December 28th, at Hall Chapel. Memorials have been established to Hospice of America. Gene Virgil Wacker was born November 28, 1928 in rural Lincoln, KS to Frank and Sarah (Roush) Wacker. He worked as a farmer stockman. Survivors include his wife, Adis Wacker of Lincoln, KS; sons, Clyde (Virginia) Wacker of Wichita, KS, Kenneth (Peggy) Wacker of Lincoln, KS, Alan (Bette) Wacker of Hoisington, KS, David (Lynn) Wacker of Hunter, KS; daughter, Sherry (Vance) Stinnett of Salina, KS; brother, Harvey Roush of Vesper, KS; sister, Jeanette Feldkamp of Vesper, KS; 13 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
