Liz Cheney Supports Reversal of Child Labor Restrictions
The daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney was in Torrington Saturday night to speak to Goshen County Republicans. Following the US Department of Labor withdraw of a proposed rule that would have tightened restrictions on children under the age of 16 working on farms. In a interview with KNEB/Rural Radio Network Liz Cheney says DOL was willing to keep youth from engaging in activities farm and ranch families had done for generations.
While Cheney is pleased to see the DOL reversed it course, she remains concerned how far in government agency is willing to go, until the American people stand up and fight back against government regulation.
