Russia Bans Indiana Pork Products
Russia has suspended imports of pork from Indiana Packers Corporation. USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service says, the Delphi, Indiana based packer’s product will not be allowed into Russia effective November 24th, after reporting the discovery of salmonella in a pork shipment.

FSIS spokeswoman Amanda Eamich says this action is not tied to an audit of U.S. pork production facilities that Russian inspectors conducted last month. A report of the findings from that audit has not been released.
