Nebraska Rural Radio Foundation is formed

The inaugural meeting of the Nebraska Rural Radio Foundation was held Monday, December 17th in Lexington, Nebraska. The purpose of the foundation is to help rural Nebraskans acquire educational opportunities and assist other groups in telling the story of Agriculture. Former State Senator Elaine Stuhr of Bradshaw was elected President and the Vice President of the new organization is Allen Blezek of Lincoln. Barbara Martinson of Scottsbluff is the Executive Director and Eric Brown of Lexington is Secretary/Treasurer. Other members of the foundation are Dale Hanson of Mead, Joe Jeffrey of Lexington, Harry Knobbe of West Point, Barbara Scharf of Curtis, Larry Sitzman of Lincoln, Max Waldo of Dewitt and Bob Weber of Friend.
