NBB Officer Elections Held
Members of the National Biodiesel Board have selected their leadership team for the coming year, electing seven returning governing board members and one new member to serve on the leadership committee. Gary Haer, NBB vice chair, says, - the leadership team clearly reflects the wide spread benefits and positive impact of our diverse industry. The new National Biodiesel Board Officers are: Chairman Ed Hegland of Minnesota Soybean Promotion and Research Council; Vice Chair Gary Haer of Renewable Energy Group; Secretary Ed Ulch of Iowa Soybean Association; and Treasurer Jim Conway of Griffin Industries.
Other board members are: Darryl Brinkmann of American Soybean Association; Kris Kappenman of ADM; Bob Metz of the South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council; and Ron Marr of the Minnesota Soybean Processors.
