Craig Morgan to perform at Cattlemen's Ball
Published Monday, January 05, 2009 at 04:58 AM
DONIPHAN, Neb. (AP) _ Country singer Craig Morgan is scheduled to perform at the 2009 Cattlemen's Ball, which raises money for cancer research.
Morgan is best known for his songs ``Red Neck Yacht Club,'' ``International Harvester'' and ``Love Remembers.''
The Cattlemen's Ball has raised more than $3 million for cancer research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Eppley Cancer Center.
The ball is held each year to showcase rural Nebraska, promote beef in a healthy diet and raise money for medical research.
The 11th annual event, themed ``Give Cancer the Boot,'' will be held June 5-6 near Doniphan. Tickets can be purchased at all Bank of Doniphan branches or by calling Stacy Bieck at 402-845-6565.
