KRVN will periodically send up to the minute ag and regional news, sports and weather updates in the form of a text message.

• Will I be charged for each text message?
Please contact your cell phone provider for information regarding your individual cell phone plan. Each carrier is different in text messaging coverage options. Some plans do charge per incoming message, while others include text messaging as part of the overall plan.

• How much does the service cost?
$9.95 per month, $25.00 for 3 months or $90.00 for 1 year.

• How do I place an order?
It's easy. First click on the order now button. Complete the series of forms with your billing, cell phone, market selections and payment information. Upon completing these forms, just click the Place order and you're all checked out. A confirmation email will be sent promptly. You can also place an order by calling us at 308-324-2391.

• How many markets can I select to receive updates on?
You can select as many markets as you would like, however cell phones do have limits. Industry standards dictate that a maximum of 160 characters of information can be delivered in an individual text message. To the extent large amounts of information need to be sent or received multiple messages can be sent to the user from KRVN at no additional cost.

• What's a text message?
A text message is a short (generally 160 characters or less) message that can be sent or received on the screen of your mobile phone. Text messages are similar to emails with the added advantage mobility. There are over 193 million mobile phone subscribers in the United States. All mobile phones sold today have the ability to send and receive text messages.

• How do I pay for the service?
KRVN accepts Master Card, Visa payments online and by phone orders. Checks may be sent to KRVN, PO Box 880, Lexington, NE 68850; service will begin when the check clears.

• Is my credit card number secure if I purchase this service online?
All orders are encrypted with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology on both your end and ours. SSL encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. • Who is providing the text messaging service for KRVN?
KRVN is partnering with Commodity Update. KRVN has high standards for who we do business with. The founders of COMMODITY UPDATE SM have, among other things, a background in agriculture. Largely detached from a desk, they became frustrated with the general lack of access to timely information. Having tried a myriad of products on the market (with mixed reviews) and realizing many shared their desire for timely and accessible market information, COMMODITY UPDATE was born. The service has been available for two years and has been used by ag producers and ag businesses in Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas. Like KRVN, they are committed to providing timely ag information to producers and businesses.

KRVN's Market update can be text to any cell phone provider. We recommend reviewing your individual cell phone plan prior to beginning this service regarding text messaging charges.
